June 29 Came Early

How is that? It's only June 21. I haven't been feeling good. I went to the doctor today and she took a chest x-ray. All is clear!! So, I have bad allergies. Just drink lots of water, take an allergy pill and sudafed I will feel better. In the mean time, the plan is still going well, I take myself off of Imuran on July 1 and then go back in 6 weeks for another x-ray.

One Month From TODAY!!

One month from today, I go back for my check to see if I can get off Imuran!! I have been feeling fine, except for the nice little stomach bugs I keep getting!! BOOP wise, I haven't had any symptoms for almost a year. Lets pray that all is well!

Good appointment

Went to the doctor on Thursday. We are on track. The lungs are still clear, everything sounds good, and I only have until July 1 to be on imuran!! The 50 mg works really well and I have not been sick. The next time I go is the day before my 31st birthday. Hopefully I will never have to hear, it has come back.

No Doctor, No

How many times do you have to tell a doctor you don't have Lupus and how many times do they check you? So far the magical number is three. I am guessing this number will only increase before I am finished with my BOOP journey. I had blood work done last week to check on the liver, to see if I have Lupus, to check on my muscles, ect.... Everything came back normal. I'm feeling good and started losing my prednisone weight with the help of Weight Watcher and exercise. My wonderful and amazing husband is my rock when I am down. He helps me get outside and go for a walk. Sometimes I just come home tired, but he gets me to walk with him and I always feel better. You can't do this alone.

Good Dr. Visit

Last Thursday I went to the doctor and got an x-ray and blood work done. Everything looks great. She said I am doing great and am successful so far on the 50mg of Imuran. I feel good, just tired from the lack of sleep the other night. I'm walking at least 2 times a week and am going to start watching my calorie intake. I have a new cookbook to help me with that! I see her again in 3 months. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!! HOPEFULLY!! I have felt that before and then it comes back.... Just pray that it doesn't.

No News is Good News

Hello my fellow followers! I'm feeling fine. I thought I was getting sick last week, but it was just a little cough that has gone away. Still on the same medicine and have a doctor's appointment in January for a follow up. Just waiting patiently for July so I can get off the Imuran and see what happens. Merry Christmas!

I received a call from my doctor's office last week that I was on the list to receive the N1H1 Flu shot. I got it yesterday. Didn't hurt and my arm isn't sore. I couldn't lift my arm last year from the regular flu shot! Now I have to find out if I should get the "regular" flu shot! I hope not. I don't like needles! :)
